the BOK that brightens our world

Scrapstars and Marix has a challenge to make a page with a nickname. We call our son BOK or BOKBOK when he was smaller, that's a shorter version of "tambok". He was chubby back then, well, til now, but it's only his cheeks are "Tambok". We still call him Bok sometimes.

GREAT buy!!!

There are lots of charity bazaars here in Hong Kong before Christmas time, i went to one last week at Conrad hotel, these are usually donations from companies to charitable institutions, in turn, they sell it to people.

I was so excited to find out there is a booth that sells scrapbooking stickers, kits, chipboards, rub-ons, etc......most of them are Christmas stuff so i did not buy a lot of this, you just have to dig in their goods and you'll be lucky to find out what else are they selling. Most stuff are MM!!!! The best part of it is the price, you won't believe it but it's only $5-20 each. I got a MM wedding kit for $10, even if nobody is getting married, you have to get those as the papers, ribbons, stickers are so worth it. Can't wait for the next bazaar next month.

Another RAK!

Someone generous is giving away RAK, it's so easy to join, check out her blog www.redoaklines.wordpress.com.

Can you help these Kids again?

Saw this invite from Marix' blog, according to Julie's post, http://juliestone.typepad.com/crazycaterpillar_/2008/11/can-you-help-these-kids-again.html

she was involved in a Abused & at Risk Children's camp held in Helensburgh in April 2007, the camp, Southern Cross Kids Camp had 35 sadly neglected, often abused and at risk children. Her job was to help the children's Buddies create memory books that focused on their holiday week. These books are incredible memory anchors for these sad little children, most count down the days until the next years camp, for many of these children the happy memories & photos we take and scrap at camp are sometimes their only childhood pictures.

Please feel free to drop by her blog or email her on how can you help.
